Islamic Cosmology

531 students

“Islamic Cosmology” is an online course that will provide a scriptural framework for the origin and structure of God’s creation. Unlike physical cosmology, which is a branch of astronomy that studies the development of the physical universe and the natural laws that govern it, Islamic cosmology goes beyond the physical universe to understand the creation as a whole. Based on the Islamic sources, students will explore the origins, composition and the interplay between the physical and the metaphysical to better understand the processes that govern the world around them.
