“Introduction to Tajweed” is an online course that provides an overview of the science of Tajweed which is a science that enables one to recite the word of God proficiently. This course focuses on some of the preliminary rules regarding the recitation of the Holy Quran. Students develop a solid understanding of the characteristics of Arabic letters in the context of the Holy Quran as well as rules, concepts and methods on how to improve our recitation.
