Dr. Sadik Kassim

Dr. Sadik Kassim is a scientist, biotechnology executive and lecturer whose work focuses on cell and gene therapy, genomic medicine and translational research. He holds a PhD in microbiology and immunology from Louisiana State University and has held senior scientific leadership roles at Novartis, Kite Pharma, Mustang Bio and Vor Bio. He now leads technology work in genomic medicines at Danaher Life Sciences and has contributed to the development of several major cell and gene therapies. He also lectures regularly on Islamic theology, ethics, spirituality and the questions facing Muslim communities today.
