Where do the two angels responsible for recording our good deeds and sins go after our death?

The angels assigned to record a person’s actions are commanded by the order of Allah and discharge this duty with perfect accuracy and diligence. During a person’s lifetime, they remain with him, recording everything that he does. As for after his death, this particular task comes to an end. However, it is possible that they remain with the deceased in his grave, acting as witnesses to his deeds should he attempt to deny them, or they may be tasked with matters related to the deceased in the grave — such as serving as intermediaries in the embodiment of the deeds they had recorded, whether good or bad, or other tasks assigned to them. In my research, I have not found any specific reports detailing the work of the two angels after death. Their situation appears similar to that of other angels: they must have a role, and perhaps it remains connected to the deceased due to their closeness to him during his life. And Allah knows best.
