Explore Jesus’ place in Islamic scripture through his family, birth, mission and character. The course begins with Mary and the prophecies surrounding Jesus’ birth, then considers divine teachings, the prophecy of Ahmad and Jesus’ relationship with his disciples.
The later sequence examines the plot against Jesus, the divine plan for him and accounts of his descent. Lessons on Jesus and Imam Mahdi lead into a concluding discussion of Muslim and Christian relations, connecting the scriptural study with questions of religious encounter.
