About this course
Explore the origin and structure of creation through the scriptural framework presented in Islamic cosmology. After introducing the subject and its historical doctrines, the course examines the heavens and earth, the sun, moon and stars, and the Quranic and hadith discussions of the Arsh and Kursi.
The lessons then turn to features of the natural world, including mountains, wind, water, vegetation and animals. A final sequence considers belief in angels, their infallibility, rank and functions within this account of creation.
