About this course
Work through the basic structures of Arabic, beginning with nouns, verbs, particles, phrases and sentences. The course introduces the signs of each part of speech, then examines pronouns, prepositions, kaana and its sisters, and the distinction between declinable and indeclinable words.
The sequence develops into a study of noun forms and case endings, including subjects, objects, adverbs, conditions and exceptions. Later lessons examine adjectives, emphasis, substitution and conjunction, followed by the particles, verbs and nouns that govern grammatical relationships.
