The scholar providing the consultation is offering religious guidance based on their knowledge, training, and understanding of Islamic teachings. The consultation is not intended to diagnose, treat, or manage mental health, medical, psychological, or other professional matters.
Participants who require professional counselling, medical care, legal advice, or other specialized services are responsible for seeking assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.
Assumption of Responsibility and Liability
I understand that I am voluntarily participating in the consultation and that any decisions, actions, or consequences arising from information or guidance discussed during the consultation are my responsibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I agree that Tasneem Institute, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and the scholars providing consultations are not responsible or liable for any loss, harm, claim, damage, or consequence arising from or related to my participation in the consultation or my reliance on information or guidance provided during the consultation.
I acknowledge that Tasneem Institute and the consulting scholar do not assume responsibility for decisions I make following the consultation, and I voluntarily assume responsibility for my participation and for any actions I choose to take based on the consultation.
Nothing in this waiver is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Recording and Confidentiality
I understand that consultations may be audio and/or video recorded for the safety, security, and accountability of the scholars and Tasneem Institute. Where a consultation is recorded, the recording will be treated as confidential and will only be accessed, used, or disclosed for legitimate safety, security, administrative, or legal purposes, subject to applicable privacy laws and organizational policies.
By participating in the consultation, I acknowledge and consent to the possibility that the session may be recorded for these purposes. I understand that confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in circumstances where disclosure is required or permitted by law, including circumstances involving legal obligations, immediate safety concerns, or other circumstances prescribed by applicable law.
